Coffee Cup Software has some really nice utility programs which we have used extensively.
Dynamic Drive features cutting-edge DHTML and JavaScripts, all nicely categorized with concise descriptions of what scripts will work with which browsers. With the renewed interest in producing valid HTML, they are also revamping their scripts so they work under valid HTML environments.
We began shopping for a new HTML editor this last summer and, after testing 3 different programs, we now use HTML-Kit exclusively. Tons of plugins, a very easy to use interface and, best of all, it is free for non-commercial use. With all of its features, a huge library of plugin applications and excellent support, HTML-Kit is probably the best editor currently on the market.
On the recommendation of a college professor, we downloaded a trial version of Paint Shop Pro many years ago and have never looked back. Although we have tried Adobe Photoshop (through the auspices of a friend), we find that PSP is a bit less complicated and handles all our graphics needs.
